Welcome to Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis! (CASGSL)

We are affiliated with the Psychology Department at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) and are accredited by the National Children's Alliance (NCA). We work with children from ages 0 through 18 who have experienced any kind of trauma and provide an array of services including forensic interviews and counseling.

Some of the goals of Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis are to reduce the effects of trauma experienced by children and adolescents through: trauma-informed assessment and counseling, facilitation of multi-disciplinary investigative teams, child-sensitive forensic interviews, consistent victim advocacy, quality undergraduate and graduate training, utilization based research, responsive community outreach, and relevant advocacy to influence public policy.

CASGSL also has a strong training and research component. Our training includes graduate-level practicum training as well as trainings to increase awareness in the community about trauma-related problems in children and adolescents through community outreach services.
